No-Face and Chicken gave the girls some chocolate valentine hearts.
The girls were extremely excited about this.
Daisy asked if i'd taken chicken to the shops to buy them, i told her i hadn't bought the hearts or taken Chicken to buy the hearts (which was true, Marc bought the hearts from John Thorners)
Daisy then said "perhaps Chicken went on his own" with a little smile on her face.
During this time, Iris had simply wripped off her wrapper and was busy stuffing her chocolate into her mouth, when it comes to chocolate Iris doesn't hesitate.
As you can see in the below photograph, No Face now has eyes, so he should technically now be called i-Face, but he's not.
And yes they could both do with a wash.
Oh and note Chicken's new feet, that Daisy choose a short while ago.

Chicken has new skin
Poor chicken looked like this up until a few days ago.
His trousers had all but fallen off, his holes were getting worse and worse and even though he kind of needed a wash, i was terrified he'd completely fall apart...
so we asked the fairies to come and collect him so that he could go and visit the toy hospital where he would be fixed and come back all shiny and new and not smelly anymore.
We put him in a big padded envelope and we propped the envelope up next to the front door and the fairies did their work, and the next morning, Daisy went down to see if he'd been mended and as you can see he had.
Here you can compare the old version without his beak or feet and the new version before he had his eyes stitched on.
And here is a shot of Daisy with new chicken and Iris with a not so old lady chicken. Lady chicken was bought to replace the original Mr Olli Chicken when we realised Daisy was very attached to him, unfortunately she was rejected.
Iris quite likes her however, although nothing is better than Iris' No-Face.

Poor old Chicken

Here is the latest soft toy object i have created, a baby chicken to look after old chicken in his old age.
Daisy quite likes him/her but Chicken is still the leader of the pack.
Will you look at the state of poor old Olli Chicken (who i didn't make), he has been patched up twice as you can see but he really does need an overhaul, i keep thinking about it but i just can't quite work out how to do it so that he still looks like the chicken she knows and loves, it would be far easier to throw him away and start again, but that is a big no no.
Here is a link to the Olli Olbot website (the creators of our Olli Chicken), but don't bother to click through cos it's in Danish or Swedish and on top of that the site is being redesigned.
If you are interested in them, then they can be bought online from all over, for example Amazon.co.uk
Interestingly, although he is called Olli Chicken in our house, he is technically a duck.
Here is a pic of how Chicken used to look with no holes or patches.

My first portrait of my chicken

Here is my first portrait of my chicken, i absolutely did it all myself, mummy didn't help me at all.
Whilst i was doing it, i was talking about drawing his beak, and his hair so mummy knew i was trying to draw chicken, and both mummy and daddy were gob smacked that it actually looked like my chicken.

Chicken's mini doppelganger
We made a mini chicken out of playdo, i loved him for about 20 mins then i squashed him and got a little bit upset.
Good job mummy quickly got a photograph of him.

chicken and baby bottles
Here is my favourite thing in the whole world, Olli Chicken, otherwise known as 'Chicken' or 'shishin' or even 'man chicken' if i am tired or if i have hurt myself then i always want him.
He usually ends up quite dirty cos i drag him around with me everywhere and he ends up on the floor or in the vegetable rack or in Gus's basket, but he is unusually clean in this photograph because mummy has just washed him in the washing machine.
Mummy tried to buy another Olli Chicken for me in case i lost this one, and she did buy another one but it has red coloured trousers instead of brown strips, so i don't like it, i call it lady chicken, it lives in my cot but i leave her at the bottom of the bed where i don't really go.
This photograph was taken just after my Auntie Vicky left after visiting me for an afternoon, unfortunately mummy forgot to take a picture of me with my Auntie Vicky so instead she took one just after. Auntie Vicky bought me a present of two baby bottles which i love, i am holding them in my hands if you look closely.

snoooozing
I sneaked up on Daisy whilst she was having a snooze in her bed, here she is lying flat on her back with Olli Chicken over her face.
This is how she likes to sleep sometimes.
