We went to see the Torquay pantomime again this Christmas (our third in a row)
This years star was that fella who used to be in Brookside, Popeye or Sinbad, yes Sinbad that was his name in the show.
There is a rather funny photograph of Sinbad in his costume below, it is rather revealing in that his trousers are perhaps a little bit tight, maybe he had too many cream teas whilst in Devon.

Daisy enjoying herself at the pantomime
The Dame who had truly fabulous outfits
This little line up of classic pantomime peeps included from left to right: Mark Jackson, Phil Randall, Emmerdale's Stuart Wade and Michael Stark (otherwise known as Sinbad)
Here is the actor Michael Stark (otherwise known as Sinbad) with rather strange trousers.
The next day i even saw "Muddles" Emmerdale's Stuart Wade in Sainsbury's in Torquay, he was at the checkout in front of me, i wouldn't have known it was him at all if the checkout girl hadn't asked him what he would be doing for New Year and he hadn't said well i'll be in panto doing Snow White.
I at this point immediately started talking to him, telling him that we had gone the night before and that we had really enjoyed it, which was a slight exaggeration, but i couldn't exactly tell him that it was quite similar to last years and the story was quite loosely based around the original disney film of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But hey i enjoyed seeing him in the flesh, he
was quite shy and a little bit handsome.

Friday - Pantomime at the Princess Theatre in Torquay
On Friday we went to the Princess Theatre in Torquay to see Jack and the Beanstalk which was like a typical pantomime, lots of 'he's behind you' and 'oh yes he is' etc...
Some fun was had by all but Daisy was terrified of the witch.
"What Witch?" i hear you say, there isn't traditionally a witch in Jack and the Beanstalk, but in this show there was a wicked witch, a good fairy, a brother to Jack called Simple Simon who moved most of the plot along, and to top it off a princess called Jane not to mention her dad the king.
Jacks mum called Tilly, who was also the dame character (man dressed up as lady) had the most fantastic outfits, I would have taken more photographs espcially of the outfits, but i got a severe frowning and a telling off by an offical lady who worked there.
Here are a couple of shots i took before or after my telling off.

Happy New Year
It's 2007 and we are entering this year as a family of four, which is one more than last year.
Here are some random photographs taken during our Christmas / New Year excursion to Devon.

Grandad Tony and Grandma Helena in Rousden (near Lyme Regis)

Daisy, Iris, Nana & I went to see Cinderella Panto at Torquay's Princess Theatre. Daddy, Grandad Nick, Auntie Vicky and Auntie Polly & Anne were supposed to come too, but a particularly nasty virus spread like something 'very runny' at my mums birthday party two nights before and everyone was too poorly to come. Mum invited her old school friend Pam and her daughter Tracey and Tracey's son Mathew to come along instead.
Whilst i ran to get the car in the pooring rain, Tracey held Iris and Kamal (the fairy diva) apparently gave Iris a quick cuddle and commented on her lovely outfit which was a brown bear snow suit.
**My daughter has been held by Kamal!, i could auction her on Ebay for literally tens of pounds perhaps**
Festive shots of the little one's and Nana:

Here we are trying to get a self portrait of all of us squeezed into the bed, it kind of worked but Marc only just has his eyes open and Daisy insisted on getting Chicken in on the action too.
