Christmas Day

It's Christmas Day and here is Daisy about to open her first Christmas pressie, she was far more interested in the wrapping paper than what was actually inside the present.
After opening her first present she went back to the tree to select another pretty looking present and opened that one as well, and then again and again until there were no more left.
It was a lot of fun for everyone.

Working on my palm pilot

Right it's time to do a bit of work on my palm pilot, don't anyone disturb me now, i'm not interested in anything unless it's chocolate.

Fred's Ug boots

Here is Daisy trying on Fred's Ug Boots which fit her very well, she liked them a lot.

I sneaked up on Daisy whilst she was having a snooze in her bed, here she is lying flat on her back with Olli Chicken over her face.
This is how she likes to sleep sometimes.

Kidzmania

This was Daisy's first go on a bouncy castle, we were at Kidzmania and she really enjoyed it, she loved it, she kept falling over because all the other children were a bit better at bouncing than her, she just needs more practice.

In fact she cried when I wanted her to stop bouncing.

Eating Pasta

Here i am eating pasta, my favourite food in the whole world, this particular pasta is the spiral version (don't know the name of it) with Pesto Sauce, i've also got broccoli and carrots on my plate which i love most of the time, unless somebody mentions cake, especially chocolate cake.
did somebody mention chocolate cake?
Oh and here is a close up of me looking beautiful.

New Shoes

Here are my new shoes, well boots to be exact.

We bought them from Clarks and they are very swishy indeed.

I like them quite a lot, although to be honest i like all shoes, big shoes, small shoes, high shoes, low shoes, i wonder if it will continue when i grow up, i expect so.

At Bella's House

Here i am having a mini Christmas Party with my friends (left to right) Carolina, Isabella me and Leonardo.
All of the mummies worked together at Doubletake.
We are all at Bella's house and are currently watching a DVD.

Playing with mummies bobble hat

Here i am trying mummies bobble hat on for size.
I like to put it on right over my head and then i walk around, giggling as mummy walks around after me trying to stop me walking into all the furniture or walls or doors etc...









Lots of fun for me, probably not much fun for mummy.

Playing the Piano

Here is Daisy at the 'Sally Army' with a friend Lachlan playing the piano, well i say playing, they were awful, definately need lessons.

The lady next to them is Anita, Lachlan's mum who was 4 months pregnant at this time.

A visit to Grandma office.

Today we went into Kings Cross to visit Grandma at her office, Grandma had a lovely time showing Daisy off to all her friends and work colleagues,

a nice lady gave Daisy some pink feathers which she put in her hair.

She tried to help with the filing

and she sorted Grandma's handbag out.

The Hackney City Farm

We went to the city farm back in October but i have only just found the photo's from my mobile phone, so they are going up today.
I also forgot her ladybird wellies so Rita and me put plastic bags over her shoes to protect them from all the poo and mud that was about.
It seemed like a lot of fun.

Cleaning my teeth

Here is Daisy cleaning her own teeth.
The only way to do this job was to let her do a bit on her own at first, and then once she'd had her go, then i was allowed to clean her teeth, whilst she cleaned her toy's teeth.

She has two toothbrushes.
We also sing silly songs to her like the theme tune to Balamory or Yoko, Jakamoto Toto to distract her, though it is usually a stuggle.

(I do like to keep them on their toes, otherwise they think they've got the hang of this parenting lark.)

My new hat from Nana

Today Daisy got a parcel from Nana. It contained a new 100% cotton bonnet that she hand knitted especially for her and some mittens that match which are not shown.

and here she is trying on some shoes, you can see her new leg warmers and her home made dress that mummy made. (it didn't stay white for long)

My Dog Bite

Here is a photograph of Daisy's poorly nose from when Barney bit it, sorry that it's not very clear but I took it on my camera phone.

To be honest Daisy isn't all that bothered about it now, she's not scared of dogs at all, but she has been waking up a bit in the night with nightmares.

I think she might be more scared of her friend Winnie who keeps wanting to bite her too, Winnie bit her on the leg today, which i'd say hurt a little bit, but she's a brave soldier.

Grandad Tony's birthday

It was Grandad Tony's 60th, birthday on Saturday (it was mine as well, well not my 60th), and we went over to see him in Rousden which is near Lyme Regis, we had a nice Sunday lunch and then we went out for a walk.

Hello everyone, this is my blog.

My name is Daisy Mae, i live in London and i am 18 months old.

I love eating, sleeping, laughing, barbie dolls, my chicken, in fact i love most things really.
Most things except being bitten by a dog, Grandad's dog Barnie (a jack russel) nipped me on the nose on Saturday night whilst we were down in Devon, and boy did my nose bleed, mum and dad and Grandad took me to casualty in Torquay where they gave me Calpol and anitbiotics and stuck steri-strips on my nose and it was all quite traumatic for both me and everyone else but i'm fine now thanks.
