Iris

I'm not sure if this is a self portrait or not, but it's very sweet.
It came back from school in the book bag.
It has actually had a hand cut out and stuck back in with sellotape.

We have chickens

Indeed we do have chickens, three of them.
Glinda (belongs to Iris) is the brown one and she's quite friendly.
Gloria (belongs to Daisy) is the white one, and she's a bit scared.
Gladys (belongs to me) is the black one and she's utterly terrified of all humans.

This is their humble abode just before they moved in, which was still clean.
They moved in on Tuesday and it now looks like they've lived in it for a year, poo everywhere.

** We have actually changed the set up since this photo was taken, the little house on the left, has moved further down the garden to a spot which gets a bit more sun, and the run on the right has gone, their little house is now in a bigger fenced off area, where they can roam free**

Daisy the chicken farmer

Abi gave us this tractor which is popular for the minute.
You can see the chicken abode behind, waiting for the chickens that i have yet to locate.

This is Daisy in another life, back in the 70's.

Daisy the flower fairy

I've wanted to do fairy portraits for a while.
This is my first attempt, well i've photographed the girls with fairy costumes and fairy wings on, but that to me doesn't constitute a fairy portrait.

I want to try to create more like a flower fairy portrait styleee thing.

I need some good props like a mushroom (Grandad Nick might have a go at making one) delicate flowing dresses, and huge oversized plastic flowers.

This is my first attempt, and this is the first photograph out of a batch of many, so many more to come when i get time to play around in photoshop.

Iris in charge of her own hair

Iris likes to be in charge of her own hair, and tell you where to put bunches and hair clips etc...
This design consists of my orange/red flower on one side, a ribbon in a small bunch to the other side, and a crocheted hair clip in the middle.

Marc took this one of her.
