New Bathroom

Here i am having a bath in the brand new bathroom.
It's a very deep bath so it's a bit like going swimming really, in fact i really like turning over and lying on my tummy in the bath.
It all smells of paint though!

Lex's 2nd Birthday

Here i am at Leccy Lou's second birthday party, we have at this point already eaten tons of chocolate cake and other sugary snacks and it was quite hard for all the mummies to keep us all on the sofa, we were all far too hyper, in fact Lachlan has already hopped it.
Who's left on the sofa is Rafi, Winnie, Leccy Lou standing and me.

After Leccy Lou's birthday

After all that sugar, I fell asleep in my buggy and refused to lie back.
Mummy tells me she took me up to bed after this photo was taken.

Big Girl Bed

This is the first night i slept in my big girl bed that Nana bought for me. We actually went up to IKEA a few weeks before when Nana came up to visit, and then daddy put it up for me but i didnt' want to sleep in it.

Then one day i had a daytime nap in it and that was ok, but i still didn't want to sleep in it at bedtime, i still preferred my cot bed, and then a few days later (tonight) i suddenly said to Daddy that i would sleep in my big girl bed so mummy and daddy read me stories whilst i lay in my bed and then i went to sleep.

Apparently i was good as gold that night.

Iris

I am about to put up a load of new photographs of what i've been doing lately, i've been quite busy so i haven't had that much time to update my blog, but here is a photograph that mummy took of some Iris flowers from our front garden.
Very pretty they are too.

Cousins

In devon i met up with my cousins, or second cousins or whatever relation they are to me. (mummies cousins children)
Oscar who is about six months and a bit chubby and Annabella who is about 4 months and definately not smiling.

Fishcombe Beach

Hello, here i am on my hols still in Devon, this morning i went with mummy and Auntie Vicky to the beach, Fishcombe Beach (more info on Brixham Beaches here)

This particular beach is stoney, lots of Brixham beaches are stoney, in fact perhaps all of them, but this doesn't spoil the fun one bit, you can collect stones, throw stones into the water, dig for stones and find water underneath, Barney the dog likes to try to pick up stones that are too big for his mouth cos he's very silly.

I'm told that beaches in Paignton and Torquay are sandy, perhaps i will see them on my next visit to Devon.

Playing in the garden at Nana's by the sea

Here i am playing in Nana's garden, i am with my auntie Vicky and Tilly dog and Barney dog.
This first photo is of me and my Auntie Vicky sitting together, the sun was just coming out and i'm just about to take my tights off.











The second photo is just me laughing at Vicky, she is funny.

The third photo is naughty Barney who although is much amusement to me and i mostly squeal with delight at him, he is also a bit naughty and mummy tries to watch him carefully for any future nips.

Changing of the guards

Whilst on our trip into London we also saw the Changing of the guards, which i dont' think i've ever seen before.

And here is a pic of all of us on our day out.

The Sultan's Elephant

Today we took Daisy into town to see The Sultan's Elephant The Sultan's Elephant.
It is a huge (40ft) elephant and a rather large little girl which have been created by theatrical magicians Royal de Luxe.
Both the elephant and the little girl are operated like puppets, The girl is suspended via a mechanical arm and people all dressed in red operate the different parts of her via pully systems from behind.

The elephant supports itself with four men hanging underneath the elephant and with a set of switches they were lifting and placing down each foot when told to by one man walking directly underneath the belly of the elephant, who was instructing which foot should go down next. There was even one man who operated the trunk and huge amount of water that squirted out onto us, we were soaked.
Absolutely fantastic, Daisy was amazed by the little girl but terrified by the elephant, mind you we didn't get that close to the little girl so maybe she would have been scared of the little girl too if she'd seen her up close.

Here i am sitting on the camping stool in the garden, it fits me just right.
